How does JS10 LIVE CAMS differ from IP camera software and DVRs/NVRs?
IP camera software is specifically designed to provide access to live images from a DVR/NVR for a small group of users. A DVR/NVR has limits on logged-in users and also on bandwidth; DVRs/NVRs have a limit of simultaneous accesses of 20 to 100 users, and there is also a bandwidth limit.
Now imagine a scenario where someone wants to provide access to the cameras to promote a city or a tourist spot using a DVR, NVR, or camera directly, which would be impossible for three reasons:
a) Too many simultaneous connections would congest the devices, causing image failures or disconnecting logged-in users.
b) For security reasons, access is not granted to just any user on the DVR/NVR.
c) The videos would not be available for applications and websites in a standard way.
Note: Software for accessing IP cameras plays a very important role in its purpose, the difference is that the JS10 expands simultaneous access as well as facilitating the use of live videos on the internet and also through applications. With JS10 LIVE CAMS, the videos would be available on the World Wide Web rather than on devices (DVR/NVR), making it easier to use through applications and websites.
